ACMP Ohio started the New Year with some Change Management “R, R, & R”, brainstorming in a World Café format on three popular “R” topics:
     Resilience – explore ways we can help people and orgs build their resilience. 
     Readiness – share how you can tell if people are really ready for change?
     Reinforcement – share tactics that work for you!

Tammy Walterman, Certified Life Coach, led a lively discussion with practical tips on how to coach for engagement and performance. In her practice she assists her clients in identifying a transformational vision of their life and helps them uncover and eliminate resistance; building an action plan to move their life from ordinary to extraordinary!

The March meeting brought Patt Hardie who lead an interactive session to help change practitioners help their sponsors and leaders to "Do Change Right." Through an exchange of ideas and challenging activities, Pat shared tools from Business as UnUsual, a practical workshop for leaders.


We enjoyed hosting members and guests in a night of networking and education! 

Cultural Change, Start with culture!  |  February 2020


In this dynamic and interactive workshop, participants had the chance to discuss the 6 dimensions of organizational culture, and also experienced a fun acceleration technique to boost engagement. A big "thank you" to Aude Scheibli for her wonderful presentation. 

New board members Terra Boroff, James Gerhard, and Ron Kibbe joined returning or re-elected members at a day-long operational planning meeting for the 2019-2020 program year.

World Cafe: Thought Leadership on Hot Topics  |  January 2019


ACMP Ohio members gathered at Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris January 8, 2019 to discuss three of the most relevant topics in change management:

- OCM success in an Agile ​environment

- Alignment of OCM, BA and PM roles

- Examination of the sponsor's role

Reconnect with ACMP Ohio  |  May 2020 (Online)


The program membership team moderated an interactive brown bag session discussing the unique challenges professionals in our field are experiencing with these new modes of work. Participants connected with colleagues, collaborated on solutions, and shaped the discussion on a new paradigm of best practices as our profession moves forward in this time of crisis.

Members across the state met with the board of directors, including three newly elected directors, to discuss how ACMP can provide the most value to you and the work you do. The discussion was an outstanding opportunity for personal engagement between the board and members that provided input to chapter plans and aspirations for the new year.

Holding "crucial conversations" with sponsors  |  OCTOBER 2018


On October 17, 2018, the combined membership of CCODN and ACMP Ohio met to try out some techniques for structuring sponsor conversations for maximum success. Deb Stets and Sue Dolloff blended the structure from “Crucial Conversations” with selected habits from “7 Habits of Highly Effective People" to deliver this engaging evening.

Our February event in Columbus was a lively discussion about data analytics and ways for businesses to extract greater meaning and value from their data. We welcomed back Barbara Trautlein, PhD, the creator of the CQ®/Change Intelligence® strengths-based assessment of change leader styles in our April meeting. With her characteristic high-energy and fun style, she led us through several exercises to demonstrate our change leader styles. We learned how to best use our strengths without overdoing them. We also had the opportunity to laugh at our styles a bit, all in good fun! Check out the gallery!

We each received a copy of Barbara’s book Change Intelligence: Use the Power of CQ to Lead Change that Sticks and as follow-up to the workshop, Barbara shared links to a variety of resources and research. This was a value-packed event!
